Introduction
US-100 ultrasonic ranging module achieve 2cm~4.5m non-contact distance function, wide range input voltage with 2.4~5.5V, the static power consumption is less than 2mA, results on the distance correction comes with temperature sensor, also has GPIO, serial port (baud rate 9600bps) and other means of communication, with the watchdog, stable and reliable work. The 2Pin jumper module back to select a different mode, when the pull the jumper cap, expressed in GPIO mode; when the plug jumper cap, said work in serial mode, as shown in figure
Level trigger mode (GPIO mode) only need to input a 10US tube feet above the high level in the Trig/TX, US-100 will output a high level through the Echo end, according to the duration of the high level to calculate the distance value. The distance value of: (high level *340m/s) /2. This distance values have been corrected for temperature, namely, regardless of temperature, velocity selection 340m/s
In the serial mode, input to the 0X55 through the Trig/TX tube feet (9600 baud rate), US-100 will output two bytes by Echo/RX tube distance value, the first byte is the distance from the high of 8 (HDate), second bytes for the distance of the lower 8 bits (LData), unit is mm. The distance value is (HData*256 +LData) mm
In the serial mode, input to the 0X50 through the Trig/TX tube feet (9600 baud rate), US-100 will be through the Echo/RX pin outputs a byte value of temperature (TData), the actual temperature value is TData-45. For example, sent by TX after 0X50, 0X45 received in the RX end, then the temperature value is [69 (10 hexadecimal value of 0X45 - 45] = 24 degrees)
