Description

LTC ® 4150 is available in handheld and portable PC products in the application of measurement of battery consumption and charging. The device monitors the current flowing through an external detection resistor between the battery positive terminal and the battery load or charger. A voltage to frequency converter is a series of output pulses at the interrupt pin to convert the current sense voltage to a series of output pulses. These pulses are relative to a fixed charge of the inflow or outflow of the battery. The device may also indicate the polarity of the charge in the battery's charge and the charge process.

LTC4150 for the use of single or two lithium ion batteries, as well as the application of 3 to 6 NiCd or NiMH batteries.
